Charles R. van Ee, Esq.
Charles van Ee received his Juris Doctor degree from the University at Buffalo Law School in 2010. During law school, Mr. van Ee's primary focus was intellectual property law, particularly the ways in which the field relates to computer science, high technology, and the Internet. As a law student, Mr. van Ee was also a member of the Buffalo Intellectual Property Law Journal. Before law school, Mr. van Ee received a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in German from the University of Michigan.
Mr. van Ee currently practices trademark law, including drafting trademark availability opinions, filing applications for registration, and responding to Office Actions from the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. van Ee also works extensively with associates in foreign countries to manage our clients' overseas trademark portfolios.
Mr. van Ee assists our patent attorneys and patent agents with issues that arise during the drafting of computer and software-related patents and their subsequent prosecution.
Mr. van Ee is licensed to practice in New York.
