Gerald F. Gibbs, Jr.

Gerald F. Gibbs, Jr. is a registered patent agent whose practice consist of preparing, filing and prosecuting patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Gibbs also assists attorneys in the preparation of patentability, infringement and validity opinions. He also counsels clients on how best to protect their inventions.

Mr. Gibbs, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the State University of New York College at Buffalo, has extensive employment experience in the fields of electrical technology, electronics and mechanical applications. Prior to entering the patent profession, Mr. Gibbs worked as a Journeyman Industrial Electrician for General Motors (GM) Corporation, providing maintenance, troubleshooting and electrical support for engine assembly lines, ABB Robotics Automation Systems and CNC production machinery. Mr. Gibbs also worked as an Aircraft Hydraulic Fuel Control Technician for H.S.C. Controls Inc./Woodward Governor.

Mr. Gibbs is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is also a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), the Niagara Frontier Intellectual Property Law Association (NFIPLA) and the American Physical Society (Physics).
