C. Paul Maliszewski, P.E.

C. Paul Maliszewski is a registered patent agent having extensive experience with domestic and foreign patent applications in the electrical, electronic, mechanical, and computer software arts. He also has extensive employment experience in the fields of electrical engineering design, environmental consulting, and due diligence.

Mr. Maliszewski has prepared and prosecuted patent applications in a variety of technological art areas and for a variety of clients including domestic and multi-national corporations, small businesses, individual inventors, and educational institutions. In the electrical and electronic areas his experience includes power, alternative energy, telecommunications, controls, sensors, semi-conductors, xerography, and printers. Mr. Maliszewski's experience in computer software and business methods includes financial systems, computer/internet security, self-learning systems, marketing and retail systems, information systems, ontology systems, and medical systems. In the mechanical area he has prepared and prosecuted applications in the fields of automotive and heavy equipment, alternative energy, oil and gas exploration and recovery, medical equipment, optics, power tools, nautical systems, consumer products, and general manufacturing. Mr. Maliszewski also has assisted attorneys with patentability searches and opinions, infringement opinions, and invalidity opinions.

Mr. Maliszewski holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky where he was a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society.

Prior to entering the patent profession, Mr. Maliszewski worked in the field of consulting engineering, providing design and project management for construction, rehabilitation, and environmental remediation projects. His clients included industrial, governmental, and commercial entities. Mr. Maliszewski also led numerous domestic and international environmental due diligence efforts for facility transfers.

Mr. Maliszewski is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York State.
