Derek Howe has more than 20 years of combined diverse experience in industrial engineering, construction drafting, and computer-aided patent illustration. Conveniently located in our building, Derek serves the Western New York intellectual property community as an independent contractor with detailed, precise and prompt patent illustrations. Derek has illustrated hundreds of pending patent applications and issued patents, in diverse fields including the mechanical, electrical, electronic, chemical, biotechnical, and computer software arts. He works closely with inventors, patent attorneys and agents to illustrate inventions in a way that Patent Examiners, inventors and juries appreciate.
