John Van de Ven

John Van de Ven brings more than 35 years of industrial experience to patent illustration. For most of his career John worked for Moore Corporation, the world's leading manufacturer of business forms and systems. John's experience at Moore included manufacturing and research and development of ink jet printing equipment, fluid systems, products and paper handling equipment. John is an inventor and holds five patents. For several years, John served as manager of Moore's world wide technical support department and the Research Center Mechanical Development department. In the last five years of his tenure at Moore, John worked in the Intellectual Property Department where he managed the company's portfolio of approximately 3000 domestic and foreign patents. In this capacity John served as liason between the inventors and the patent attorneys - handling more than 80 patent applications per year. Since retiring from Moore, John has leveraged his extensive industrial and patent experience in the expert preparation of hundreds of utility and design patent drawings.
