J.T. Benner is a law clerk and technical advisor. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo in 2022. He was the only known student in the history of the school to have taken a law school course as an undergraduate. He was also the only undergraduate to secure a position at the UB Technology Transfer office, rising from an intern to a Research Support Specialist in his 3-year tenure there.
Mr. Benner’s focus is primarily on patent prosecution.
In the time that he doesn’t spend working or studying for the patent bar exam, he enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and spending time with his wife, and their son.
