Michael Nicholas Vranjes is an Intellectual Property attorney with a background in mechanical engineering. Mr. Vranjes handles all phases of intellectual property law. He focuses his practice on prosecution and protection of technology in various technical disciplines, with an emphasis in mechanical equipment and motorized vehicles. Mr. Vranjes earned a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo in 2010, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 2014, where he focused his studies on intellectual property law.
Following law school, Mr. Vranjes worked as an attorney for International Business Machines Corporation. His day-to-day responsibilities included writing patent applications, responding to Office Actions, and consulting with inventors regarding invention disclosures, primarily with respect to mechanical and software inventions.
Prior to law school, Mr. Vranjes worked as a mechanical engineer in the private sector, where he contributed to and managed solutions for non-destructive testing and inspection of industrial manufacturing equipment. Mr. Vranjes has also worked as a mechanical engineer in the design and manufacture of mechanical technologies and has an advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes.
