Biography

Karen Bruno is a senior paralegal and serves as our Legal Services Administrator. Ms. Bruno monitors and supervises our firm-wide docket to ensure that work is done in a timely manner by attorneys, agents, law clerks, and staff, and that due dates are met. This is no small task, as Ms. Bruno is usually monitoring thousands of due dates for our many clients. Ms. Bruno is also responsible for training and supervising our entire staff, and coordinating workflow within the office.

Ms. Bruno also works directly with Robert Atkinson, Michael Vranjes and Peter Konzel assisting in their day to day work. There is virtually no area of our practice that Ms. Bruno is not involved in.

Ms. Bruno holds a Bachelor's Degree with Honors in Paralegal Studies from Hilbert College. Ms. Bruno began her career in intellectual property law in 1995 at a large general practice firm in Buffalo, New York, where Robert Simpson chaired the intellectual property department. Her loyalty and excellent service to our clients and commitment to Simpson & Simpson's mission earned Karen the position of Firm Administrator in 2002 and a promotion to Legal Services Administrator in 2006.
